I finished something

I set out to make a hat for baby X yesterday and I did it all in one day. It was just little hat on a loom but I felt very accomplished for not setting it aside. I took it to him this morning and put it on him so I could take a picture of him with it on.

One of these days I will learn to really knit a hat. But for now, the little loom works just fine, especially when I need to do something doesn't require a lot of concentration.

When I figure out how to post a picture on here, I will show you how cute he looks in it.

I wanted to test to make sure my comment would go through tried yesterday and you had it set for members only. I wanted to welcome you to blogging, and so glad you decided to come out of lurking. If you want bloggers to reply to your comments that you leave on their blog, I would suggest you change your settings to "show your email". That way we can just hit the reply button on our email, as you have it set at noreply at the moment.

If you want to add photo's. In the post compose box, you'll see in the menu bar a little box with a picture on it. Click on it and it will bring up another window with a brower for finding your pohoto's that you have stored on your pc. Find the photo you want to add to the blog, click on it and wait for it to upload. Once it's complete hit the "done" button and voila your photo will be in your post.

Congrats on your first hat. I am sure X looks really cute in it. Does he live near you?
Also I tried to set up the RSS and it wouldn't work. I didn't ask my tech about it maybe I should?

Please disregard that last part about the RSS. My tech guy came down stairs and told me what I was doing wrong. Someday I'll figure it all out, maybe.

Welcome to Blogland. I tried to answer your comment on my blog but you have yours set to No Reply. You can go to edit profile and add your email address. Then people can contact you. As for your question, did you go to links on my sidebar and click on The Debreuil Family Cookbook? It works when I do that so it should work for you too.
